Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SYS6090 + chemotherapy is an investigational combination therapy being developed by Shanghai JMT-Bio (a subsidiary of CSPC Pharmaceutical Group) for the treatment of advanced lung cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and small cell lung cancer (SCLC). SYS6090 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor, functioning as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to restore and enhance T-cell mediated anti-tumor activity. In clinical trials, SYS6090 is administered in combination with various chemotherapy regimens, such as platinum-based doublets (cisplatin or carboplatin) with pemetrexed, paclitaxel, or etoposide, as well as docetaxel monotherapy. This combination approach is designed to leverage the synergistic effects of cytotoxic chemotherapy and immunotherapy to improve outcomes for patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic disease who are not candidates for curative surgery or definitive chemoradiotherapy.
