Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SYS6090 + pemetrexed + bevacizumab + platinum-based chemotherapy is an investigational combination therapy regimen developed by Shanghai JMT-Bio Inc., a subsidiary of CSPC Pharmaceutical Group. The regimen centers on SYS6090, a humanized monoclonal antibody that acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by targeting the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor. This is combined with bevacizumab, an anti-angiogenic monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and a chemotherapy backbone consisting of the folate antimetabolite pemetrexed and a platinum-based agent (typically cisplatin or carboplatin). The combination is currently being evaluated in Phase Ib/II clinical trials (notably NCT07472647) for the treatment of advanced lung cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and small cell lung cancer (SCLC). A primary focus of the development is for patients with driver gene-positive non-squamous NSCLC who have failed prior targeted therapies, leveraging the synergistic effects of immunotherapy, anti-angiogenesis, and cytotoxic chemotherapy.
