Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SYS6090 + pemetrexed + platinum-based chemotherapy is a combination therapeutic regimen being developed by Shanghai JMT-Bio Inc. (a subsidiary of CSPC Pharmaceutical Group) for the treatment of advanced lung cancers. The combination consists of **SYS6090**, a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor, **pemetrexed**, a folate antimetabolite that inhibits multiple enzymes in the pyrimidine and purine biosynthetic pathways, and a **platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent** (such as cisplatin or carboplatin) which acts as a DNA cross-linking agent. This regimen is currently being evaluated in a Phase Ib/II clinical trial (NCT07472647) specifically targeting patients with driver gene-negative non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (SCLC). The combination therapy is designed to enhance anti-tumor activity by combining immune checkpoint inhibition with cytotoxic chemotherapy.
