T2:C100

T2:C100 is an oral combination drug consisting of two cannabinoids, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD), formulated in a digestible oil. It is being investigated primarily for the treatment of agitation in hospice-eligible patients with dementia, as well as for its potential benefits in treatment-resistant epilepsy. The mechanism of action involves modulation of the endocannabinoid system through THC and CBD, which are known to interact with cannabinoid receptors in the central nervous system. Clinical studies have shown that T2:C100 may reduce agitation and seizure frequency, improve quality of life measures, and is generally well tolerated. The product has been developed by Tilray and is currently under investigation in phase 2 clinical trials funded by academic institutions such as the University of Southern California and Georgetown University Medical Center[1][4][5][8].
