tagitanlimab + capecitabine is a combination therapy regimen being developed by Sichuan Kelun-Biotech Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. Tagitanlimab (also known as KL-A167) is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to restore T-cell mediated anti-tumor activity. Capecitabine is an orally administered fluoropyrimidine carbamate that functions as a systemic prodrug of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), an antimetabolite that inhibits thymidylate synthase and interferes with DNA synthesis. In clinical development, this combination is specifically being evaluated in patients with Claudin 18.2-expressing advanced solid tumors, such as gastric and gastro-oesophageal junction cancers, often as a backbone therapy in conjunction with the antibody-drug conjugate SKB315 to leverage synergistic anti-tumor effects.
