tamoxifen + vitamin c

Tamoxifen combined with vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a therapeutic approach studied for breast cancer treatment. Research indicates that vitamin C may enhance tamoxifen's effectiveness while potentially reducing some of its side effects. The combination has shown synergistic effects in inhibiting breast cancer cell proliferation in vitro. Vitamin C appears to help reduce tamoxifen-induced hypertriglyceridemia and may work by increasing reactive oxygen species in cancer cells when administered at high doses.
