Targeted Activated Dendritic Cells + Targeted CAR-T Cells is an investigational combination cell therapy developed by Hainan Cancer Hospital for the treatment of advanced solid cancers. This therapeutic approach involves the administration of autologous dendritic cells (DCs) and T cells, both of which are genetically modified to express chimeric antigen receptors (CARs). The Targeted Activated DCs are designed to home to the tumor site and reshape the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, breaking down barriers that typically hinder T-cell infiltration. This priming effect is intended to allow the Targeted CAR-T cells to penetrate the tumor more efficiently and maintain persistent cytotoxic activity against cancer cells. The therapy is designed to target specific antigens commonly expressed in solid tumors, including Claudin 18.2, GCC, TROP2, and PSMA, depending on the patient's specific tumor profile. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial to assess safety and preliminary efficacy.
