Overview

TCR-T (HPV antigens) is an autologous, gene-modified T-cell receptor-engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy being developed by Yongtai Biology (Immunotech Biopharm). The therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a specific T-cell receptor (TCR) designed to recognize Human Papillomavirus (HPV) derived antigens, such as E6 or E7 proteins, which are presented by Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) molecules on the surface of infected or malignant cells. By bypassing the limitations of natural T-cell recognition, this TCR-T approach enables the immune system to specifically target and eliminate HPV-positive tumor cells. The product is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of HPV-associated malignancies, including cervical cancer and head and neck squamous cell carcinomas.
