tegoprazan + clarithromycin

Tegoprazan, also known as CJ-12420, is a small molecule potassium‑competitive acid blocker (P-CAB) developed by CJ Healthcare for the treatment of acid-related gastrointestinal diseases such as gastroesophageal reflux disease and peptic ulcer. It acts by reversibly inhibiting the gastric H+/K+-ATPase enzyme in parietal cells, leading to potent and rapid suppression of gastric acid secretion. Tegoprazan has a fast onset of action and maintains prolonged control over gastric pH due to its slow clearance from the gastric glands and efficacy independent of food intake or baseline acidity.
