Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IN-M00002 is a fixed-dose combination (FDC) tablet containing tegoprazan and naproxen, developed by HK inno.N Corporation. Tegoprazan is a potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB) that inhibits gastric acid secretion by competitively blocking the potassium-binding site of the H+/K+-ATPase enzyme in gastric parietal cells. Naproxen is a non-selective non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzymes to provide analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. This combination is designed to provide effective pain relief while reducing the risk of NSAID-induced gastric ulcers by maintaining a higher gastric pH. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of pain and the prevention of gastric ulcers.
