Teltsan M40/25 is a branded generic combination medication developed and marketed by Sanrey Therapeutics. It is formulated as an extended-release tablet containing 40 mg of telmisartan and 25 mg of metoprolol succinate. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptor antagonist that promotes vasodilation and reduces aldosterone secretion, while metoprolol succinate is a cardioselective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker that decreases heart rate and cardiac contractility. The drug is indicated for the management of hypertension and the prevention of cardiovascular events such as myocardial infarction and stroke. It is administered orally once daily.
