Temsirolimus + dexamethasone is a combination of two pharmaceutical agents used primarily in oncology. Temsirolimus is a small molecule kinase inhibitor that targets the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), a key regulator of cell growth, proliferation, and survival. By binding to the intracellular protein FKBP-12, temsirolimus inhibits mTOR activity, resulting in cell cycle arrest at the G1 phase and suppression of tumor angiogenesis and growth[1][2][3][6].
