Tenecteplase + tirofiban is a combination therapy used primarily in the management of acute myocardial infarction (heart attack). Tenecteplase is a genetically engineered variant of tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) that acts as a thrombolytic agent, promoting the conversion of plasminogen to plasmin and thereby dissolving fibrin-rich blood clots.
