Teneligliptin + glinide is a **combination therapy** involving two distinct classes of oral antidiabetic drugs used for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. *Teneligliptin* is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that prolongs the activity of incretin hormones (notably GLP-1 and GIP), increasing insulin secretion and suppressing glucagon release in a glucose-dependent manner. *Glinide* refers to short-acting insulin secretagogues (such as repaglinide or nateglinide), which stimulate rapid insulin secretion from pancreatic beta cells by closing ATP-sensitive potassium channels.
