Amrobion is a fixed-dose combination of neurotropic B-vitamins, comprising thiamine (Vitamin B1), pyridoxine (Vitamin B6), and cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12). Manufactured by Amros Pharmaceuticals, a generic pharmaceutical company based in Pakistan, it is primarily indicated for the treatment of vitamin B deficiencies and associated neurological disorders such as peripheral neuropathy, neuritis, and neuralgia. Thiamine acts as an essential cofactor in carbohydrate metabolism and nerve function; pyridoxine is involved in amino acid metabolism and the synthesis of neurotransmitters; and cyanocobalamin is critical for DNA synthesis and the maintenance of the myelin sheath.
