Overview

A combination therapy comprised of **ticilimumab**, a monoclonal antibody targeting the T-cell immunoglobulin and ITIM domain (TIGIT) checkpoint, and **gemcitabine**, a small molecule chemotherapeutic agent. Ticilimumab is designed to block immune inhibitory signals mediated by TIGIT, thus enhancing antitumor T-cell activity as part of immunotherapy approaches. Gemcitabine is a nucleoside analog used in the chemotherapy of various solid tumors, operating via inhibition of DNA synthesis and promotion of tumor cell death. This investigational regimen aims to exploit potential synergy between immune checkpoint blockade and cytotoxic chemotherapy, which may increase the activation of antitumor T cells and reduce tumor-associated immune suppression.
