Overview
Tiepifengdou granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) botanical product primarily composed of extracts from *Dendrobium officinale* (known as Tiepishihe). Developed by Zhejiang Tianhuang Pharmaceutical, it is designed to treat chronic atrophic gastritis, particularly in patients presenting with the 'Qi-Yin deficiency' pattern. The therapeutic is believed to nourish Yin, clear heat, and benefit the stomach, thereby promoting the repair of the gastric mucosa and alleviating symptoms such as epigastric pain, bloating, and dryness. It has been studied in Phase 2 clinical trials in China to evaluate its efficacy and safety in improving gastric mucosal atrophy and intestinal metaplasia.
