This is a combination regimen consisting of three drugs: - **Tislelizumab** is a humanized IgG4 anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody that blocks the interaction between PD-1 on T cells and its ligands (PD-L1/PD-L2), thereby enhancing T-cell mediated immune responses against tumor cells. It is developed as an immunotherapy for various cancers. - **Cisplatin** is a platinum-based chemotherapy agent that causes DNA crosslinking, leading to apoptosis in rapidly dividing cancer cells. - **Paclitaxel** (including both conventional and albumin-bound/nab-paclitaxel formulations) is a microtubule inhibitor that disrupts mitosis by stabilizing microtubules. This combination has been studied primarily as neoadjuvant or first-line therapy for locally advanced or metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) and nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Clinical trials have shown improved pathological response rates compared to chemotherapy alone, with manageable safety profiles[1][2][3][4][5][6].
