Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination of three drugs: **tisotumab vedotin**, an antibody-drug conjugate targeting tissue factor and delivering the microtubule-disrupting agent MMAE; **pembrolizumab**, an anti-PD-1 immune checkpoint inhibitor; and **carboplatin**, a platinum-based chemotherapy agent that induces DNA crosslinking. This regimen is under clinical investigation for the first-line treatment of recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer. Clinical studies demonstrate that combinations of these agents can be administered together with manageable safety profiles and suggest encouraging antitumor efficacy. The mechanism of action integrates targeted cytotoxicity (tisotumab vedotin), immune checkpoint blockade (pembrolizumab), and DNA damage (carboplatin)[1][3][5][7][9].
