Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of four agents: **tisotumab vedotin**, an antibody-drug conjugate targeting tissue factor and delivering the cytotoxic payload monomethyl auristatin E; **pembrolizumab**, a monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death 1 (PD-1) used as an immune checkpoint inhibitor; **carboplatin**, a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent that forms DNA crosslinks to inhibit DNA replication; and **bevacizumab**, a monoclonal antibody that inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), thereby preventing tumor angiogenesis. This multi-drug regimen is being investigated primarily in **recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer** and is designed to combine direct cytotoxicity, immune modulation, chemotherapy, and anti-angiogenic effects. The rationale is to leverage complementary mechanisms for enhanced anti-tumor activity in hard-to-treat gynecologic malignancies[2][4][5].
