Overview

TJ202 (also known as MOR202) is an investigational human monoclonal antibody targeting CD38, a surface antigen highly expressed on multiple myeloma cells. It is derived from MorphoSys’s HuCAL antibody technology and works by recruiting immune effector cells to kill tumor cells through mechanisms such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP), but not complement dependent cytotoxicity. Dexamethasone is a synthetic corticosteroid that mimics the effects of cortisol, reducing inflammation and suppressing immune responses. The combination of TJ202/MOR202 with dexamethasone has been studied primarily for the treatment of relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma, showing promising efficacy and tolerability in clinical trials[5][6][8]. I-Mab holds exclusive development and commercialization rights for TJ202/MOR202 in Greater China, while MorphoSys continues global development efforts.
