tobemstomig + axitinib

**Tobemstomig + axitinib** is a combination therapy consisting of tobemstomig, a bispecific antibody targeting both PD-1 and TIM-3, and axitinib, a small molecule inhibitor of vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR) 1–3. Tobemstomig is designed to block immune checkpoint pathways, enhancing T-cell mediated anti-tumor immunity. Axitinib inhibits angiogenesis by selectively blocking VEGFR-1, VEGFR-2, and VEGFR-3, thereby reducing tumor blood supply and promoting tumor cell apoptosis. The combination aims to leverage immune system activation (through checkpoint inhibition) in synergy with angiogenesis inhibition, primarily for the treatment of advanced or metastatic renal cell carcinoma and potentially other solid tumors.
