**Tobemstomig + nab-paclitaxel** is an investigational combination therapy consisting of Tobemstomig, a bispecific antibody targeting the immune checkpoints programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and lymphocyte activation gene 3 protein (LAG-3), and nab-paclitaxel, a nanoparticle albumin-bound form of the chemotherapeutic paclitaxel. Tobemstomig acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by simultaneously blocking PD-1 and LAG-3 on T cells, thereby reinvigorating antitumor immune activity and enhancing cytotoxic T lymphocyte function[2][4][6][8]. Nab-paclitaxel disrupts mitotic spindle formation by stabilizing microtubules, leading to cancer cell death[1]. The combination is under clinical investigation for advanced cancers, notably triple-negative breast cancer, where it aims to enhance chemotherapy efficacy through immune modulation[6]. Tobemstomig was developed by Genentech (a Roche subsidiary)[2][4][6][8], and nab-paclitaxel is commercially manufactured as Abraxane.
