Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Toripalimab + lenvatinib is a combination therapy that pairs a PD-1 inhibitor (toripalimab) with a multi-kinase inhibitor (lenvatinib). Toripalimab is a recombinant, humanized programmed cell death receptor-1 (PD-1) monoclonal antibody that blocks the interaction between PD-1 and its ligands, enhancing T-cell responses against tumor cells. Lenvatinib is a multi-kinase inhibitor that targets vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR1-3), fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFR1-4), platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha (PDGFRα), KIT, and RET proto-oncogene. The combination aims to enhance antitumor activity through complementary mechanisms of immune checkpoint inhibition and anti-angiogenesis.
