Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination therapy regimen combining an immunotherapy agent (toripalimab) with chemotherapy components (oxaliplatin, tegafur, gimeracil, and oteracil potassium), primarily used for gastric cancer treatment. Toripalimab is a humanized anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody that blocks the PD-1 pathway to prevent immune evasion by cancer cells. Oxaliplatin is a third-generation platinum drug commonly used in combination for various cancers. Tegafur + Gimeracil + Oteracil Potassium (TGOP), also known as Teggio or part of S-1/SOX regimens, consists of tegafur (a 5-fluorouracil prodrug), gimeracil (a dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase inhibitor), and oteracil potassium (a gastrointestinal mucosal protective agent). This combination represents an approach integrating immune checkpoint inhibition with chemotherapy to enhance anti-tumor effects.
