Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TQA3605 is an orally available small molecule hepatitis B virus (HBV) capsid inhibitor developed by Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group. It is being investigated for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B, particularly in combination with oral nucleoside (acid) analogues (NAs). The drug acts by inhibiting the HBV capsid, thereby interfering with viral replication. Clinical trials are ongoing to evaluate its efficacy and safety both as monotherapy and in combination with NAs in patients with chronic HBV infection, including those who are treatment-naïve or have low viremia[1][2][3].
