Overview

TQA3810 + NUC is a combination therapy under investigation for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B (CHB). TQA3810 is an orally administered, potent, and selective Toll-like receptor 8 (TLR8) agonist developed by Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group. By activating TLR8 in myeloid cells, TQA3810 induces the secretion of cytokines like IL-12 and TNF-α, which are intended to stimulate the innate immune system and restore HBV-specific adaptive immune responses. The combination includes a nucleos(t)ide analogue (NUC), such as entecavir or tenofovir, which acts as a reverse transcriptase inhibitor to suppress viral replication. This dual approach aims to achieve a functional cure for CHB by combining potent viral suppression with immune stimulation.
