TQB2223 + penpulimab

TQB2223 + penpulimab is a combination of two monoclonal antibodies under clinical investigation for the treatment of advanced cancers, including advanced malignant solid neoplasms and metastatic cancer. TQB2223 is a recombinant, fully humanized antibody targeting lymphocyte activation gene 3 protein (LAG-3), blocking its interaction with major histocompatibility complex class II (MHC-II) to enhance T-cell proliferation and cytokine production. Penpulimab is an anti-programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) monoclonal antibody that inhibits PD-1-mediated immune suppression, thereby promoting anti-tumor immune responses. The combination aims to synergistically boost the immune system's ability to fight cancer by inhibiting both LAG-3 and PD-1 pathways[2][3][4][5]. Developed by Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., this drug combination is currently in phase I clinical trials for various advanced cancers.
