Overview

TQB2916 is a humanized IgG2 monoclonal antibody that acts as an agonist of CD40 (tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 5). By binding to CD40 on target cells, it activates downstream immune signaling pathways and generates anti-tumor immune responses, including promoting apoptosis in B-cell lymphoma cells. Doxorubicin is an anthracycline antineoplastic antibiotic that exerts its cytotoxic effects primarily by intercalating into DNA, inhibiting topoisomerase II, and generating free radicals. This leads to DNA strand breaks, inhibition of DNA and RNA synthesis, cell cycle arrest, and ultimately apoptosis of cancer cells. The combination of TQB2916 with doxorubicin is being investigated for the treatment of solid tumors such as sarcoma and melanoma[2][3][5][6].
