TQB3616 + fulvestrant

TQB3616 (also known as culmerciclib) is a novel, orally administered small molecule inhibitor targeting cyclin-dependent kinase 4 (CDK4) and cyclin-dependent kinase 6 (CDK6). It has demonstrated potent antiproliferative activity in hormone receptor-positive breast cancer cell lines and xenograft models, inducing G1 cell cycle arrest and promoting apoptosis. Fulvestrant is an estrogen receptor antagonist that competitively binds to the estrogen receptor with high affinity, leading to downregulation of the receptor and inhibition of estrogen-driven tumor growth. The combination of TQB3616 with fulvestrant is being investigated for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer, particularly in patients who have progressed on prior endocrine therapy.
