Overview

Combination therapy of the trastuzumab biosimilar **CMAB302** (Cipterbin)—a monoclonal antibody targeting human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)—with **vinorelbine**, a small-molecule anti-mitotic chemotherapy agent belonging to the vinca alkaloid class. CMAB302 binds HER2 to inhibit cell proliferation in HER2-positive tumors via antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and inhibition of downstream signaling. Vinorelbine disrupts microtubule assembly, preventing mitotic spindle formation and cell division. This combination is under investigation for HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer and is primarily developed for cost-effective oncological care, especially in China[1].
