Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tridem Bioscience is developing a therapeutic neoglucoconjugate vaccine for the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease. Utilizing the proprietary WISIT (Weak Immunogen Specific Immunotherapy) platform, the vaccine is designed as an active immunotherapy to induce the production of endogenous antibodies against amyloid-beta (Aβ). The goal of this approach is to stimulate the patient's immune system to recognize and clear Aβ peptides, thereby reducing amyloid pathology and plaque accumulation in the brain. The program is currently in the discovery phase.
