The combination aims to leverage trilaciclib’s myeloprotective effects to reduce the hematologic toxicity of docetaxel-based chemotherapy while combining the cytotoxic activity of docetaxel with the immunotherapeutic effect of envafolimab. This regimen is under clinical investigation for advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC)[1][2][9].
