Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Trivalent influenza split vaccine (Shenzhen Kangtai) is an inactivated split-virus vaccine developed by Shenzhen Kangtai Biological Products (also known as Kangtai Biotechnology) for the prevention of seasonal influenza. The vaccine is designed to induce protective immunity against three influenza virus strains, typically comprising two influenza A subtypes and one influenza B lineage. It contains purified surface antigens, primarily hemagglutinin and neuraminidase, from inactivated viruses. Indicated for individuals aged 3 years and older, the vaccine aims to stimulate the immune system to produce specific antibodies that neutralize the targeted influenza strains. As of the latest reports, the vaccine has reached the NDA/BLA filing stage in China.
