TRK-950 + gemcitabine + cisplatin is a combination regimen under investigation for the treatment of solid tumors, particularly CAPRIN-1–expressing cancers such as cholangiocarcinoma and other biliary tract cancers. **TRK-950** is a humanized monoclonal IgG1 antibody targeting CAPRIN-1 (cytoplasmic activation/proliferation-associated protein-1), highly expressed on the cell surface of many solid tumors; it induces tumor cell death via antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) and antibody-dependent cell-mediated phagocytosis (ADCP). **Gemcitabine** is a nucleoside analog chemotherapeutic that inhibits DNA synthesis, and **cisplatin** is a platinum-based agent causing DNA crosslinking and apoptosis. Preclinical and early clinical data show TRK-950 works synergistically with cytotoxic agents such as gemcitabine and cisplatin, enhancing immune activation and antitumor response[1][4][5].
