TRK-950 + imiquimod

TRK-950 + imiquimod is a combination of two anti-cancer agents. TRK-950 is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets CAPRIN-1, a protein highly and specifically expressed on the cell membrane of various solid tumors, and functions by binding to CAPRIN-1 to exert anti-tumor effects through targeted immune mechanisms and, in radiolabeled formulations, through cytotoxicity[1][3][5]. Imiquimod is an immune response modifier of the imidazoquinolinamine class and acts as an agonist of Toll-like receptor 7, inducing a cytokine-mediated immune response and promoting apoptosis in diseased or tumoral cells[2][4][6]. While TRK-950 is being investigated in clinical trials for advanced malignancies, imiquimod is approved for topical treatment of actinic keratosis, superficial basal cell carcinoma, and external genital/perianal warts[2][6]. The combination may have synergistic anti-tumor immune effects, but direct clinical trial evidence for this combination is not currently available in public sources.
