Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Troxerutin + cerebroprotein is a combination therapeutic injection primarily utilized in China for the treatment of cerebrovascular disorders and traumatic brain injuries. The product combines troxerutin, a flavonoid derivative with vasoprotective and antioxidant properties, with cerebroprotein hydrolysate, a mixture of peptides and amino acids derived from animal brain tissue. Troxerutin functions by reducing capillary permeability, inhibiting platelet aggregation, and improving microcirculation. Cerebroprotein hydrolysate provides neurotrophic support, promoting neuronal survival, metabolism, and repair by mimicking the effects of endogenous neurotrophic factors. This synergistic combination is indicated for conditions such as ischemic stroke, sequelae of cerebral hemorrhage, and cognitive dysfunction following brain trauma.
