TRS003 + paclitaxel + carboplatin

TRS003 + paclitaxel + carboplatin is a combination regimen under investigation, primarily in oncology. TRS003 is a biosimilar of bevacizumab, a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), thereby inhibiting angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels) which tumors need for growth. Paclitaxel is a small molecule chemotherapeutic agent that stabilizes microtubules and inhibits their disassembly, causing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. Carboplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent that induces DNA crosslinking and apoptosis. The combination is being evaluated in phase 3 clinical trials for advanced cancers, such as non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), among others.
