Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Trumenba + Nimenrix is a combination of two vaccines used for active immunization against invasive meningococcal disease caused by *Neisseria meningitidis* serogroups A, B, C, W, and Y. **Trumenba** is a recombinant protein vaccine targeting group B, specifically using lipidated factor H binding protein (fHbp) to induce bactericidal antibodies. **Nimenrix** is a conjugate vaccine containing capsular polysaccharides from groups A, C, W-135, and Y conjugated to carrier proteins, which triggers a T-cell dependent immune response against those serogroups. This combination covers the major causes of meningococcal disease globally, conferring broad protection against all relevant serogroups.
