Overview

TRYBAX-D is a fixed-dose combination pharmaceutical product marketed by Medicox Lifescience, primarily indicated for the management of pain and inflammatory edema. It contains the proteolytic enzymes trypsin and chymotrypsin, which facilitate the resolution of inflammation and hematomas by degrading fibrin and other proteins at the site of injury, thereby improving local circulation and tissue repair. The formulation also includes diclofenac potassium, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that provides potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, which are responsible for prostaglandin synthesis. This combination is commonly used in post-operative recovery, traumatic injuries, and various inflammatory conditions where both enzymatic debridement of inflammatory exudates and systemic pain relief are required.
