This is a **combination regimen** consisting of TST001 (osemitamab), gemcitabine, and cisplatin. TST001 is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), a tight junction protein highly expressed in gastric, gastroesophageal, and other gastrointestinal cancers. By binding to CLDN18.2, TST001 induces antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) and promotes tumor cell lysis. Cisplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic that forms DNA crosslinks, resulting in apoptosis of rapidly dividing tumor cells. The combination is under clinical investigation, notably in locally advanced or metastatic gastrointestinal malignancies—including gastric, gastroesophageal junction, biliary tract, pancreatic, and gallbladder cancers—with TST001 providing targeted immunotherapy alongside the cytotoxic effects of gemcitabine and cisplatin.
