Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TTC + MEC is a tandem high-dose chemotherapy (HDC) regimen used with autologous stem-cell transplantation (auto-SCT) for treating pediatric brain tumors and neuroblastoma. The regimen consists of two sequential conditioning treatments: TTC (Topotecan, Thiotepa, Carboplatin) followed by MEC (Melphalan, Etoposide, Carboplatin). This approach is particularly used for high-risk brain tumors, young children (under 3 years) to avoid or defer radiotherapy, and in some cases of neuroblastoma.
