Overview

TTK + LY6K + IMP-3 peptides is a cancer vaccine consisting of multiple peptides derived from three different Cancer-Testis antigens: TTK protein kinase (TTK), lymphocyte antigen 6 complex locus K (LY6K), and insulin-like growth factor (IGF)-II mRNA binding protein 3 (IMP-3). These peptides are mixed with incomplete Freund's adjuvant (IFA) and administered as a therapeutic cancer vaccine. The peptides are HLA-A24-restricted immunodominant epitopes that can induce cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) responses against cancer cells expressing these antigens. The specific peptide sequences are TTK-567 (SYRNEIAYL), LY6K-177 (RYCNLEGPPI), and IMP-3-508 (KTVNELQNL). This combination has been studied primarily for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) patients who have been refractory to standard therapy.
