Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TXA127 + filgrastim is a combination of two pharmaceutical agents: TXA127, a pharmaceutical formulation of the naturally occurring peptide **angiotensin-(1-7)**, and **filgrastim**, a recombinant granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF)[4][5][2][8]. TXA127 acts as an **agonist at the Proto-oncogene protein c-mas-1 (Mas1 receptor)**, stimulating the **alternative renin-angiotensin system** and exerting vasodilatory, anti-fibrotic, anti-inflammatory, and protective effects in various disease states including COVID-19, ischemic stroke, muscular dystrophies, and vascular abnormalities[4][6][2][8]. Filgrastim stimulates the **granulocyte colony-stimulating factor receptor (G-CSFR, CSF3R)**, promoting the proliferation, differentiation, and activation of neutrophil precursors to combat neutropenia caused by chemotherapy, radiation, or hematologic disorders[5][3][1]. The combination may be considered for enhancing stem cell engraftment, tissue repair, or support during immunosuppressive and chemotherapy protocols, though there is no direct evidence for the combined regimen being used as a clinical product.
