UC-MSC + exosomes (Shandong Province Qilu Stem Cells Engineering) is a combination therapeutic approach consisting of umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs) and MSC-derived exosomes. Developed by Shandong Province Qilu Stem Cells Engineering in collaboration with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, this therapy is specifically designed to treat bone marrow tissue injury. The mechanism of action relies on the synergistic effects of live stem cells and cell-free exosomal vesicles. UC-MSCs provide direct regenerative potential and potent immunomodulatory effects, while the exosomes act as paracrine signaling vehicles, delivering bioactive proteins, lipids, and RNAs to the bone marrow microenvironment. This combined approach is intended to promote bone marrow repair and facilitate hematopoietic recovery by modulating the local immune response and supporting the survival and proliferation of hematopoietic stem cells.
