Overview

A combination regimen consisting of UFT (tegafur/uracil), calcium folinate (leucovorin), and PSK (Krestin). UFT is an oral fluoropyrimidine that combines tegafur (a prodrug of 5-fluorouracil) with uracil in a 1:4 molar ratio[1][5]. Calcium folinate enhances the antitumor activity of fluoropyrimidines[3][4]. PSK is an immunotherapeutic agent derived from the mushroom Coriolus versicolor[3]. This combination has been studied as adjuvant therapy in colorectal cancer.
