This is an investigational allogeneic cell therapy developed by PT Prodia Stem Cell Indonesia (ProSTEM) for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy. The therapy consists of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) isolated from the Wharton's Jelly of human umbilical cord tissue. These UC-MSCs possess regenerative and immunomodulatory properties, aiming to improve kidney function and reduce inflammation in patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy. The treatment is administered via a single intra-renal injection under imaging guidance. Clinical evaluation focuses on safety, tolerability, and efficacy markers such as eGFR, serum creatinine, and inflammatory cytokines including Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) and Interleukin-10 (IL-10).
