Umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs) are a cell therapy product developed by Shandong Province Qilu Stem Cells Engineering, currently being evaluated for the treatment of skin graft donor wounds. UC-MSCs are multipotent stem cells harvested from umbilical cord tissue that possess significant immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, and tissue-regenerative properties. In the context of wound healing, these cells are thought to facilitate the repair process by modulating the local immune environment, reducing inflammation, and promoting angiogenesis and re-epithelialization at the donor site. The project is part of the company's clinical research portfolio conducted in collaboration with hospitals in China and is currently in the registered clinical research and filing stage.
