Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Universal Cancer Immune-Enhancer (VLP+MCT)** is a preclinical DeepVax therapeutic cancer-vaccine immune-enhancement platform combining virus-like particles with microcrystalline tyrosine. The VLP component is intended to promote rapid lymphatic trafficking and antigen-specific immune priming, while microcrystalline tyrosine forms a local depot that prolongs immune exposure. In a murine melanoma model, a VLP-based vaccine formulated with microcrystalline tyrosine enhanced antigen-specific cytotoxic CD8-positive T-cell responses and tumor protection compared with alum. DeepVax states that the VLP plus microcrystalline tyrosine immune-enhancer has also shown promising results in horses and is being prepared for translation to human applications.
