urelumab + ipilimumab

**urelumab + ipilimumab** is an investigational combination therapy of two monoclonal antibodies: **urelumab**, an agonist of CD137 (4-1BB), and **ipilimumab**, a checkpoint inhibitor targeting CTLA-4. Urelumab acts as an immune system co-stimulator, activating and potentiating T-cell responses via CD137, while ipilimumab blocks CTLA-4, removing inhibitory signaling and further enhancing T-cell-mediated anti-tumor activity. The combination aims to synergistically stimulate anti-tumor immunity. Both agents were developed by Bristol Myers Squibb. The regimen is being studied for advanced solid tumors, especially melanoma and other cancers, most commonly in early-phase trials.
